Developers MHT Housing Inc, the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament and the Archdiocese of Detroit are building the Woodward Avenue Apartments (alternately called the Cathedral Apartments) on Archdiocese-owned vacant land. The Arden Park site is located at 10201, 10227 and 10235 Woodward Ave.; 39 Calvert St.; and 30 Glynn St. All 53 units are to be affordable based upon 30-80% area median income. The ground floor will include retail space. In 2021, the $16.7 million project was awarded Low-Income Housing Tax Credits totaling $911,222.
