In 2019, Method Development purchased five buildings on a Milwaukee Junction block for a reported $4.5 million: 6540 St. Antoine St. (formerly the Rusas Printing and Boyer Campbell Building) and 2881, 2871, 2857 and 2863 E. Grand Blvd. (the Maurice Fox building). The $20 million redevelopment of over 100,000 square feet of space includes retail, offices and the Junction Lofts with 18 units at 2863 E. Grand. Method applied for a $337,340 Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Act tax abatement for 2857 and 2863 E. Grand in 2020, and the project is also supported by Opportunity Zone financing. In 2022, some elements of the project were complete, including retail space occupied by Vault of Midnight (2857 E. Grand) and By Popular Demand The Collective (6540 St. Antoine).
