University of Michigan's Ross School of Business namesake Stephen Ross' Related Affordable, with development group The Platform, are planning an 83-unit housing complex in the District Detroit area, with studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments affordable at 60% of Area Median Income. Developers are seeking Low-Income Housing Tax Credits for the project, announced in December 2021, and could begin construction in 2022. The project would be built on land purchased from the city for $500,000.
